Hawk Helpers (Student Council)

The results are in and we have our very first Student Council (Hawk Helpers) at Harrison Elementary. These students have done so much already. They filled out an application by stating why they should be in Hawk Helpers, by identifying ideas for making the school and community a better place, and by giving examples of how they are respectful, responsible, and ready. Regardless of what position they were applying for, these students were tasked with going on the morning announcements and making a quick speech about why they would be the best fit for the different roles. Most of the Hawk Helpers made signs that we hung in the hallways. Lastly, students were elected for their roles by their peers and by school staff.
